It means there's much work to be done, probably missing an engine.

If you're inclined, it'll make the V8 swap easier.

Haha hopefully its not missing an engine! Apparently it runs, but who knows...its CL after all. If I got one I wouldn't really want to do a V8 swap. I'd prefer to keep the sweet inline 6, even though they aren't that great on the 280.

I'd bet he means ECU, but I'd also bet that its actually just got a vacuum leak, faulty injectors, or some fouled sensor.

Ya I'm nervous about it having more problems than just the ECU. I'm going to take a look at it sometime this week to see what's up with it. If it's something like the ECU, it won't be a problem.
